MARCHE BIANCO IGT – WHITE WINE –

Visual examination: Crystalline, Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Olfactory examination: Herbaceous notes of fresh hay and anise; floral and fruity with notes of crunchy white-fleshed fruit and citrus.
Taste-olfactory examination: Dry, warm, soft, with good freshness and minerality. Sourcing: Stacciola Hamlet, Pesaro-Urbino Province, Marche Region – Italy.
Appellation: MARCHE BIANCO IGT
Grape variety: Verdicchio 90% – Biancame 10%
Harvest season: third decade of September.
Harvesting technique: grapes harvested by hand in small crates, selection of the grapes in the vineyard by thinning and various stages of harvest.
Type of soil: medium mixture – clayey
Wine making: soft pressing of the whole bunches, static decanting of the cold musts. Fermentation at controlled temperature in steel. Stop on the fine lees.
Ageing: 6/8 months in steel vats, 2 months in the bottle.
Alcohol content: 13% – 14%
Serving temperature: 12° in medium size glasses.
Food pairing: Perfect both as an aperitif and throughout the meal; it exquisitely accompanies fish-based preparations typical of the Marche coast; it can also be paired with fresh cheeses and local cured meats.
