OUR WINERY

Our family has been producing wine since the early 1900s. Afterwards, in the 1950s, our grandparents bought the poderi (farmhouse estate) on which our Agricultural Society Sor Rico was born. We dedicated our winery to our grandfather that everyone, in the village and in the countryside, used to call Sor Rico, “Signor Enrico”.

In 2018, after various vinification processes, we built the new winery, in Le Marche’s Hinterland, a few kilometers from the seaside and about 50 kilometers from the Umbria-Marche Apennines.

OUR WINES

We are proud producers of the white ‘Vigna del Grazie’, Bianchello del Metauro DOC, ideal both as an aperitif or to accompany the whole meal; excellent with starters and with all fish based dishes

typical of Le Marche and also with fresh cheeses and local cold cuts.

And of the red ‘Il Nepote’, MARCHE IGT ROSSO, grapes 50% Sangiovese and 50% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, perfect with grilled meats and other meat in delicate sauces. Excellent to be combined with aged cheese and local cold cuts.

The new born in 2019 is the our ‘Tribolla’, classic method sparkling wine, with soft pressing of the whole grapes and cold static decanting of the must. The fermentation in stainless steel tanks is at controlled temperature. Then a second fermentation in the bottle and resting on the lees for 18 months. “Disgorgement” process and BRUT “dosage”. Perfect with fish and shellfish appetizers, fried fish, marinated fish.
